As many of you already know if you follow along with my blogs, Mike and I moved into our new house!
Which is super amazing and fun! However, Mike is on the road a lot and I tend to watch a lot of sci-fi and mystery shows which leaves me with an over active mind when he is gone.
With a new house, there are a lot of noises that I am not accustomed to yet, so I am always a little paranoid of what the noises may be.
Not only do I always stay protected while at home but also while I am on the road.
Therefore I thought I would fill you in on the firearms and ammunition I use to keep me safe on the road and in the house.
Disclaimer: There are many firearms that I haven’t used, I just like these ones because I am comfortable, proficient and practice with them often.
So here we go:
Glock 42 – I like this firearm because it is small enough to conceal, yet large enough to feel comfortable in my hand, which allows me to be accurate.
I carry this with me 9 times out of 10. I also carry it with me while I am out running.
The holster I use while running is lightweight, comfortable and does not bounce around while jogging. I got it on Hiding hilda for about $50.00.
I pair this with the Winchester train and defend ammunition. I like this ammunition because it’s designed for both concealed carry and home defense with less recoil but still provides maximum threat stopping power. Which allows me to find my sight picture faster and follow up with additional accurate shots.
As for home defense, I have my shotgun. Just kidding!
I do have a few of those but currently my go-to home defense pistol is my Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0.
This gun shoots well, the grip is aggressively textured, and the trigger has a lighter trigger pull than the previous model.
However, I would like to change it out for another glock eventually.
I also pair this with the Winchester train and defend ammunition.
